We had a great experience here as a family of three with a four year old child. Our friends, also a family of three with a six year old, had their own room and had a great time, too.
The front desk staff was excellent and went out of their way to accommodate us to move us closer to our friends. The complimentary bell service was so helpful, as we had a carload of stuff! Upon entering our room, the room smelled so nice and clean. We stayed on the pool level and it was so very convenient for the kids to visit one another's rooms and to/from the pool.
All employees we interacted with both within the hotel itself and the bar/restaurant were very courteous.
I felt very safe here and I would be so happy to stay here again.

The parking garage is right there by the entrance to the hotel, one car per room. The lobby is cool, and calm and very clean. The beach was just over the dunes and the indoor pool was great for when my kids needed a break from the sun but still wanted to play in the water! The room we had didn't have a balcony but had a sliding door that opened into the indoor pool atrium from the fifth floor ( there was a waist high railing that went across so no one could go over) and I could see the sun setting through all the glass that makes up the atrium, it was perfect!! My fiance and two boys and I could have fit in the giant king sized bed if there wasn't a pullout couch but that was even comfortable to sleep in. I usually clean showers I use when staying in hotels because I dont know how well they are cleaned but this one was clean. The glass door was not smudged and the tile and grout looked like someone cleaned it military style (with a toothbrush) and the offered toiletries, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, were Fantastic, spa quality and my hair was very happy! The little kitchenette had a full size refrigerator/freezer (with ice maker), a microwave, a two burner glass surface, and dishwasher, along with dishes, cups, mugs, utensils, and pots/pans you need to cook non oven related meals. I'd stay at this hotel again and again!!! The only thing it lacked in my opinion was laundry and they did have a washer and dryer on our floor but you had to pay per load. We only stayed one night because it rained the first three days we were in town and the condo we rented two buildings over was booked the night we were supposed to leave but we wanted to stay one more night for the sunshine!!!! This place is family friendly but it can also be adult oriented depending on where you are in the hotel honestly. I think if I do go back to ocean city then the Princess Royale Oceanfront Resort is where my family will be staying!!

Loved the location because it was away from the boardwalk, which is super loud and busy. I wanted a quiet vacation that had places to go nearby. Easy to navigate on foot or by car to get essentials. The fire alarm went off at 2am, and the fire department didn't show up for a good 20 minutes. There are lots of food options in a close walking or driving distance. I felt safe at the location. Our suite had 1 chair for a family of 4 at the breakfast table. All the other suites seemed to have at least 2 chairs or a table by the couch. It was inconvenient when we had to eat in. Under the kitchen sink was wet and had mold. The shower head backing was out of place, so there was a hole in the wall. Some of the outlets didn't work. When you call for things that need fixing like stated above, nothing was done. There is a huge vent area next to one of the beds in our suite, and my son's asthma was set off if he was too close to it. Loved the full kitchen and hated the stove top. It was not easy to use. Housekeeping doesn't come unless you call. When I called, it took hours for anyone to arrive. One day, I had to call 3x, and then they took all the toilet paper and left the empty metal pieces on the sink in the bathroom. They never came back to replace it, and when I called, no one came to give us toilet paper. The light cover at the front door fell on me every time I opened or closed the door. The flooring is wonky and uneven/bubbled up. It was probably due to the water damage under the sink. Hotel is "newly" renovated and looks good in pictures but whomever fixed it up should have done more to make sure things were done correctly.
