Paddling On The Upper Pocomoke River
Aug 27, 2022
• 9:00 am - 10:30 am
Paddling on the upper part of the Pocomoke River feels like going through a jungle of huge Bald Cypress
trees, waterlilies, and tangled vines. This part of the river is home to beavers, otters, and lots of turtles and birds.
The launch area is a smooth riverbank which makes it easy to climb in and out of the paddleboats. We will provide
kayaks, a canoe, and life vests. No paddling experience is needed.
Please wear water shoes and clothes that may get wet (water dripping off paddles!) and bring bug spray, sunscreen, a hat, and water. In case the CDC recommends mask wearing at the time of the event, please bring a mask.
